Is check-in/check-out valid for mountain transport?

It is valid on the entire network for the GA travelcard (click here for Details).  Therefore, mountain transports that are covered by the GA travelcard can be used.

Outside of the GA Travelcard route network, the check-in function is valid with Grindelwald Bus AG and Jungfrau Railway, including:

• Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe (incl. Eigerexpress)
• Grindelwald - First
• Schynige Platte
• Harder Kulm
• Winteregg Mürren
• Kleine Scheidegg

Tip: In the winter season, there is a reduced fare for travellers who would usually pay the full fare (i.e. adults without a Half Fare Travelcard). This must be purchased locally in Grindelwald and is not available in the check-in function.
